Even though our club is mostly focused on our common interest in literature, I assume that our love for art is not limited to this form. Because of this, Margaret Robinson – whom you may know from the Writing Center or creative writing classes – asked me to let everyone know about this upcoming concert event: Her niece, Zoe Mulford, will give a concert in KLC # 1, 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, April 18. Mrs. Robinson says: “Zoe, a singer/songwriter, performs mostly her own work, but often includes a smattering of traditional folk tunes.  She plays banjo and guitar, her songs tell good stories, and her lyrics are witty and poetic. If you’re familiar with folk musicians, she might remind you of Christine Lavin, John Gorka, or Mary Chapin Carpenter – but she’s not exactly like any of them.  You can get more information and listen to some of her music at http://www.zoemulford.com.” If this sounds interesting/intriguing to you, I encourage you come on out!
