On Tuesday, March 12, at 6pm, the English Department and English Club will be hosting a career panel featuring English major alums with interesting jobs. Panelists will share their job-search experiences, challenges and opportunities, and will address specifically how their English major situated them effectively for success in the workforce.
The panel will be moderated by Lauren Steinberg from Career Services, and she’ll also offer tips, strategies, and reflections on using an English major for career success. Audience members will have a chance to ask questions of both Lauren and the panel.
Our panelists are: Patrick Manley ’99, Editor at Elsevier Publishing; Melissa Kearney ’07, Legislative Assistant to Rep. Tim Briggs; and Heather Astorga ’09, Social Media Coordinator at Balfour Beatty Investments.
Join us on March 12 at 6pm in Founders Hall 109; all are welcome!
